The PCF Leadership
Programme

Ready to change the world?

The PCF Leadership Programme is the UK's first non-partisan LGBTQ+ leadership programme which supports people who want to take on leadership roles in politics, business, and public life.

You will undertake a multi-month course programme teaching skills in areas such as public speaking, campaigning, team management, governance, party nomination systems, strategy and safety in public office and leadership roles.

In addition, you will be matched with a mentor from the world of politics, business or the civic sector for one-to-one mentoring alongside the regular course programme. This private, informal setting provides an opportunity to ask questions and seek advice from individuals who have experienced the challenges of being an openly LGBTQ+ person in leadership roles.

The Programme is free of charge and applications will open later this year. Keep an eye on this page for updates.

The Programme's Patron:
The Rt Hon Peter Kyle MP

Peter Kyle, MP for Hove and Portslade, and former Secretary of State for Business and Trade, is the patron of the PCF Leadership Programme.

He is a gay politician who enjoys a successful career in politics. Having experienced the challenges of being publicly out while pursuing a career in politics first-hand, he is lending his voice to support the Leadership Programme.
