Meet the team
Dale has been a vibrant contributor and content creator for Scene Magazine since 2021, bringing his infectious love of pop culture to readers each month. Originally from sunny Bracknell-a small town just outside London-he made the move to Brighton in 2021, fulfilling a longtime dream of living by the sea (even if he’s still a bit too nervous to dive in) although he's still proud to be a Bracknell boy at heart.
His monthly #DALEYPOP column is a celebration of all things pop, featuring his favourite current tracks, album of the month and occasional artist interviews. He also dips into theatre reviews and listens to pop music religiously! Dale didn’t take the university route and he’s incredibly proud and grateful to be writing about what he loves for Scene, proving that passion and persistence can open doors.
By day, Dale works as a medical records administrator at one of Brighton’s most forward-thinking GP surgeries, balancing his creative pursuits with a role that keeps him connected to the community.
