We’re excited to announce the soft launch of the Pride Community Foundation’s website, a new online home for our work supporting and celebrating LGBTQ+ communities across Brighton & Hove and beyond.

As a newly formed organisation, we’re still building the foundations of how we work. Behind the scenes, we’re finalising our governance model to ensure we stay transparent, community-led, and accountable to the people we serve. We believe that meaningful, lasting change comes from within our communities - and our governance structures will reflect that.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll begin reaching out to find members for two vital boards:

• The Community Scrutiny Board, which will hold us accountable to the communities we support and help shape our values and direction.
• The Grant-making & Advisory Board, which will play a central role in deciding how our funding is distributed and ensure our work reflects the diverse needs of LGBTQ+ people.
  

We’re also excited to begin the search for our first Chief Executive Officer — someone who shares our vision for a fairer, more inclusive future and can lead the foundation into its next chapter with clarity, compassion and purpose. Full details on how to apply will be shared shortly.
