TL;DR

BBW will transfer fundraising proceeds from its events to PCF, to be held in a ringfenced fund. PCF takes a 15% admin cut, makes all grant decisions through the GAB (though BBW gets a non-voting seat on it), and provides recognition/branding in return. BBW retains the freedom to fundraise for other causes and isn't locked into using PCF exclusively. Either party can exit with 90 days' notice.

PCF x Brighton Bear Weekend Partnership Agreement

1. Purpose of the Agreement

This Agreement sets out the terms under which Brighton Bear Weekend CIC (“BBW”) will transfer funds raised through its events to The Pride Community Foundation CIC (“PCF”) for the purpose of supporting and growing the Pride Community Fund (“Fund”).

2. Transfer of Funds

BBW agrees to transfer funds raised through Brighton Bear Weekend events to PCF for inclusion in the Fund. Timing and amounts will be agreed in writing.

3. Use of Funds

Funds will be ringfenced within the Fund and administered by PCF. Grant-making decisions are the responsibility of PCF’s Grants & Advisory Board.

4. Administrative Cost Contribution

PCF will deduct 15% of all funds transferred by BBW under this Agreement to support administrative and operational costs associated with the grant-making process. This includes, but is not limited to, due diligence, programme design, monitoring, reporting, and governance.

5. Strategic Involvement & Oversight

BBW is guaranteed a seat on PCF’s Grants & Advisory Board to contribute to strategic priorities and oversight but holds no individual grant decision power.

6. Recognition & Branding

BBW will be recognised on PCF’s website and communications as a Fund contributor, including logo placement. Equally, BBW will communicate that (as appropriate) funds raised through its events will be distributed to other community organisations through PCF on its website, social media and other communications, including logo placement.

7. Fundraising Independence

BBW may fundraise for other causes and may, but is not required to, use PCF as its main grant vehicle.

8. Reporting & Transparency

PCF will provide regular updates on funds, grants, and impact.

9. Term, Review & Termination

Terms reviewed annually. Either party may exit with 90 days’ notice prior to funding commitments.

10. General Provisions

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

This Agreement has been signed by Leslie Clarke, CEO of Pride Community Foundation on 18 February 2026, and Alan Hiscutt, Chair of Brighton Bear Weekend on 25 February 2026.
